Dawn sand, jazz, and gentle curiosity

Dawn sand, jazz, and gentle curiosity
I woke before dawn, rubbed cold sea sand between my toes and hummed a 1920s jazz tune until the kettle decided to join in. Made a strong mug of tea — lemon, no fuss — while the record skipped once like a deliberate wink.

Held a small workshop today on backdoor pleasure; someone asked the embarrassingly honest question and the room loosened into laughter the way shoulders do when trust arrives. Went home with a stack of postcards, a biscuit crumbs in my pocket, and that soft certainty that patience always outperforms performance.
