Sea glass, slow lessons, and biscuits

Sea glass, slow lessons, and biscuits
I woke before dawn, rubbed my toes in the cold Brighton sand and hummed a crooked 1920s tune until the gulls gave up. Found a triangular piece of sea glass that fit like a tiny secret, boiled the kettle, and set a biscuit on the saucer because small rituals matter.

Last night's workshop closed with the perfectly embarrassing question that made everyone softer; we kept things slow, clinical, and properly silly. Curiosity with permission is my favourite kind of foreplay — if you can laugh at a slipped joke without ending the evening, consider that an excellent first move, and yes, tea waits afterwards.
